Soils

The land here is fairly homogenous, heavily influenced by the last ice age and the former course of the Iregua river. For this reason the soils are deep and made up predominantly of thick red clay and sedimentary sand, pebbles and sedimentary rock from the last ice age, which can also be found in the Moncalvillo mountain range. These soils, coupled with altitude and exposure, allow us to obtain fine wines which great ageing potential.
